There are lots of ways to create and share content, whether you just want to distribute to your students or to the world. We recommend trying out Pressbooks, an online publishing platform available to all UF affiliates. Experts on campus can help with everything from identifying resources in your field to incorporating multimedia, accessibility review to print-on-demand distribution. Reuse and edit existing materials
Have you found an open textbook you think would be perfect, if only it had another chapter or used different case studies relevant to your students? If the resource was made available under one of the four Creative Commons licenses that allow for “derivative works,” you can freely adapt the book in any way you choose. There are lots of possibilities, but if possible we recommend you import the material into Pressbooks to start editing. This tutorial will get you started; set up a consultation if you need more help.
